Boxing Day Sale Haul

I feel like I'm slightly late with this one, but I know that a some of these products will still be available in Boots, especially bigger Boots stores. The Manchester one still had loads of stock, including the big Soap and Glory gift, they had hundreds of them last time I was in. I also placed a massive Lush order, but you defiantly won't be able to get the stuff now, so I don't know if there would be much point?

On my first trip I picked up the Moschino Pink Bouquet perfume. I got a mini version of this last year in the sales in a little set and have wanted the full size for months, so grabbed this as soon as I saw it. I got this for £22.50 I believe, which includes a 50ml perfume, a 50ml body lotion and a little purse. I only really wanted the perfume but it's cheaper to buy the set than buy the perfume alone. This is a super girly fragrance, it has notes of bergamot and pineapple which make it fresh and notes of peony and lily which make it floral.

I repurchased the Philosophy Hope in a Jar moisturiser for £5. I got the same size of this two years ago in the sale and loved it. It hydrated my skin, soaked in quickly and left my skin really moisturised. It's 15ml which will last me a few months.

I also picked up the thisworks deep sleep pillow talk, I forgot to photograph it because it was by my bed. It contains a mini stress less and 75ml of their pillow spray. I'm not sure if the offer is still on, but the Boots I went in to had a 1/3 off thisworks, so it's worth asking. I've been trying this for two weeks and I love it, I don't actually know if it's helping me sleep better, I think that's probably a placebo, but it's so relaxing and does help me actually get to sleep.

The last thing for this trip was the Seventeen Eye Liner Collection which contains four eyeliners for £6. It includes a kohl, a liquid and two felt tip liners. I haven't tried any of them yet, but I'm excited to because I love eyeliner, I'll possibly do a review of this if research that you can get each product sold separately.

On my next trip I only picked up a few small items - I went in for a meal deal and just couldn't resist! I picked up the Soap and Glory bauble which contains A Great Kisser lip balm. This was only £2.50 so I just thought for such a small price I've got nothing to loose, and Soap and Glory impress me 99% of the time.

I was in need of a new hand wash, I've had my Soap and Glory one for well over a year and just wanted something new and fresh so I picked up The Garden Collection's Rose Hand Duo. It contains a hand wash and hand lotion which both smell divine, the rose is slightly old lady but I love it. It was only £3.50 which is a bargain.

Finally I picked up another Seventeen item, this is their Quick Draw Eye Crayons set, which was £5. It contains 4 double ended crayons and each crayon has a base shadow and a crease/liner shade, some of them are a bit random, for example it says the black is the base shade and the white is the liner shade. But I'm hoping these will work as great bases for eyeshadows or if I'm in a rush.

Did you pick up anything in the sales? Are there any sneaky sales still on you're loving?

  1. Thats a lovely haul! The eye pencils look super pretty and their price it's amazing! I didn't get that much on the sales, just some gym clothes but I still want to get some Real Techniques brushes (I hope I can find some deals!) xx
