High End Beauty Wish List

I don't know about you, but I find after Christmas I seem to be wanting more than I did beforehand. I have a wish list of stuff I want before Christmas but when people start asking what I want it's always "I don't really know", then as soon as Christmas is over you're reminded of everything you've ever wanted and more.

I seem to be in a bit of a MAC wanting phase. I'm slowly getting in to high end makeup through birthday and Christmas presents, or when I'm feeling really spendy. So I feel like MAC is kind of on the lower end of the high end spectrum, so I feel like I'll probably soon actually get the patience to enter a crowded MAC counter. But I'm currently lusting after the Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage, I've tried a sample and loved it, it worked great at adding a glow and as a primer. After seeing Amelia Liana wear Brave lipstick I feel like I need it in my life, but I'm still wanting Angel from my last wish list. I'm also wanting Whirl lip liner, I never thought I'd latch on to the nude 90's lip, but after trying Essence's Satin Mauve I love it, and really want to give this a try, if it's ever in stock!

For Christmas I got the Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Pillow Talk - review coming soon! - and since then I just want to have a whole draw full of Charlotte's makeup. In the past year I've loved a good contour so if I ever get rich enough, or stupid with my student loan, I will make the Filmstar Bronze and Glow mine. The Dolce Vita eye quad is something slightly more realistic and attainable for me because I can see myself having a "what the hell moment", or more sensibly asking for it for a present, but the colours are gorgeous and after swatching the shadows in Selfridges I'm surprised I didn't hand my money over there and then.

Finally are some tools, can you believe that Real Techniques brushes have made it in to a high end category? But unless you've been hiding for the past week you'll have heard of their Bold Metals Collection which are their new higher quality and higher priced brushes. Like I said I love a contour, so I really want the 301 Flat Contour, and I love smaller brushes for blush so I feel like me and the 300 Tapered Brush and made for each other. I posted about two months ago that Birchbox were offering a free Beauty Blender for new subscribers, when I found this I didn't have my card on my to order it, then just my luck I forgot about it by the next day, so I'm still wanting to give it a go.
