IWOOT Xmas 2015 Event & Voucher Code

A few weeks ago I was very kindly invited to the IWOOT event by the lovely Heather, despite being on the verge of flu (sorry if anyone did get ill after), I braved the cold and rain to attend - and I'm so glad I did. It was held at Ziferblat in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, a really cute room full of tea, cakes, drinks and games where you pay 5p a minute for unlimited supplies, so a great place for students.

Despite having heard so much about IWOOT, I'd never properly checked them out, I knew they sold quirky little gifts but never realised how cool their stuff truly was. It's defiantly the kind of website you need to head to if you're unsure of what to buy someone, there were so many things I didn't even know existing but would love to find under the tree at Christmas. Some of my favourite items had to be the cookie cutters in animal shapes, this is the dinosaur one, it is probably one of the cutest and coolest things I've seen in a long time. The animal plates with human clothing were also hilariously cute, please someone buy me this plate?

Whilst we were there we had the chance to play a little game of Secret Santa. The centrepiece Christmas tree had gift tags on with everyone at the events name, and we had to pick a tag then choose a gift and wrap it for them. I received this lunchbox from my gift giver, which will come in very handy for work and should hopefully stop me just picking up a Greggs in the morning. It gave everyone the chance to speak to new people, because I wanted to make sure I got them a gift I knew they would like and use, so heres hoping I did.

There was also the chance to decorate a Mason jar for a prize, my attempt was very much Pinterest vs Reality, and what I imagined in my head wasn't what came out on paper if you will. But it allowed us to get crafty, feel Christmassy and meet new people. I can just say this was practice for when I really attempt some of the Pinterest craft ideas we all see and hope to be good enough to do.

After checking out the website I've found they're not just a seller of quirky and fun ideas, but have some really beautiful homeware and beauty pieces, so is the kind of place you can literally buy all your presents in one shop. I'm already eyeing up the electric candles and some of the candle holders, as well as some little decorations for the house. If you too are eyeing up a few gifts I have the code IWOOTXMAS for you to use, it's valid until Christmas Day so there's plenty of time (and paydays) to use the code!

Let me know what you like from the site! There will defiantly some Christmas mugs coming my way.
